A good trout fishing day requires three great essentials which are wind, clouds, and water. Without all three, you just as well stay at home. Only moderate success will be attained without the union of all three requirements. With the water, wind, and clouds are in unison you can expect excellent results. Adding another fishing equipment such as crappie rod, reel, bass ,boat ,fish finder and other accessories.
First, a favorable south or southwestern winds hold great promise of cloudy skies. North to northwestern winds with a rapid rise in the barometer frequently brings about an abundance of sunshine, which is a bad thing.
For the second condition of clouds, south western winds can result in too much darkening of the skies and is seldom a good day for trout fishing.
The advocations of the angler to angle in any weather conditions will naturally reap different results in trout fishing. Some were better than others. Although for best results, select a day when the tree essentials of wind, clouds, and water are in the union.
Thirdly, the day after a rainfall of heavy proportions holds great promise for good trout fishing.
Crappie Rod Review:
B’n’M Sam Heaton Signature Jig Poles
I’ve bought 4 of these poles and have no complaints what-so-ever. Plenty of bend and strength to accommodate crappie, walleye, gills, and channel cats.
The pole has nice sensitivity, the 9 foot is perfect for fishing from the front of my bass boat. Very versatile and can be aggressive. A big thumbs up for this pole.
B’n’M Ultimate Crappie Rod
Simply a great rod. Plenty of backbone to handle whatever you happen to hook. The perfect rod for trout or panfish. Easily cast a light bait quite a distance. The sensitivity is amazing for vertical jigging.
This rod is well worth the money and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Excellent for trolling or jigging.
Cabela’s Whuppin’ Stick Crappie Rod
Great stick for the money. I’ve mainly used this rod for bream and crappie fishing. A little bit on the heavy side but has the strength and it’s pretty sensitive. For the money, you can’t go wrong.
Shakespeare Ugly Stik
No need to spend a bundle for a freshwater rod. You ain’t gonna catch no more fish. Another “can’t go wrong” purchase. The Ugly Stik is easy on the pocketbook, has great action and feel, sensitive and tough. What more can you ask of a rod? The guides are super strong, pair this rod with the “Cardinal” from Abu Garcia and you got yourself a fine rig for crappie or bass fishing.
